Immediate Access

July 19, 2018

One day a Pastor was talking to his son and he told him if he ever needed to get a hold of him to call and the secretary who screens his calls would put him right through when he told her who he was.

Several days later the secretary put through a call from his son.  He asked what he could do for him.  The son said nothing he was just checking to see if he could get immediate access and that his call would be put through without a problem.

We Christians have immediate access to our Heavenly Father.  There is not a secretary that will screen the calls.  No worry about if you will bother Him.  No need to leave a message and worry about if He will get back to you.  His ears are open to your calls and He hears what you have to say.

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”  Hebrews 4:16   We don’t have to hesitate or worry about anything.  We can come boldly with the confidence that He will help in time of need.

So often we find ourselves looking for solutions for problems when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is waiting with open ears and open heart to hear our problem.  We look everywhere for the solution except to the solution master.  Then after we have tried everything we can to solve it we come to God.  What we need to do is bring our problem before our Lord first and allow Him the pleasure of showing us the solution.

Psalm 34:15 says it all. “The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry.”

With God watching us and with His ears open to us, we ought to know that we have immediate access to His throne and our concerns are His concerns.  Use your access to gain the needed solution for your problem.
