I don't know about you but when I leave this world I hope that I made a difference in someone's life. In the many years the Lord allowed me to serve Him as a Pastor my goal was to make a difference in someone's life. I guess we should do that even if we aren't a Pastor. More than anything I want to make a difference in peoples' lives. It takes some hard work to allow ourselves to be used of God to make a difference in someone's' life.
I want to challenge you today as you go about your business to ask God to help you see an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. Sometimes it doesn't take much but if we make an effort we can make that difference. Smiling at someone and encouraging someone can help make their day go better and make a difference in their life. Not long ago I was walking along and as I walked I smiled at people and nodded my head. It wasn't much but I had a man stop me and tell me that he was having a bad day and he remembers me walking by and smiling at him and he told me that it encouraged him and made his day. It wasn't much on my part but it meant a great deal to him.
How about you? Are you "Making a Difference" in people's lives? When I die I would like my it said of me, he made a difference in the lives of people. It isn't always the big things you do sometimes it is the small things. Go out and make a difference in someone's' life.
