Can You Say That Again?
I know this phrase very well. I have a problem hearing and when I don't have my hearing aids in I say it often. Kelly gets very flustered when I say that so I try to use it as sparing as possible. So times we use this phrase when we hear something we think we heard wrong. They didn't really say that did they? Can you say that again?
I know when I am on the phone with someone trying to help me with a problem such as a computer problem or when I need information about something I ordered or didn't order. Sometimes it is that they have an accent or don't speak good English.
When talking to someone it is important to make sure you speak clearly and in a voice so that they can hear.
Don't be angry when someone says this they just want to make sure they heard you right. That is what you really want and so it bares repeating.
