What Is Your Favorite Bible Verse?

Do you have a favorite verse in the Bible? Maybe a group of verses? I have my life's verse which is Jeremiah 17:7. "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is." Anyone who really knows me knows that is my life's verse.

My favorite verses other than that one is John 14: 1-6 1."Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

I put these verses to memory. I have memorized many verses but these I love the most. One thing about memorizing scripture, when I was preaching many times I could quote off the verses if I had them in my memory. Also it was good when I was not close to a Bible to look up verses and I could quote them. I also had the Romans Road memorized and could quote them when I was sharing Christ with someone. Just for the record when trying to lead someone to Christ is better to not quote them but let them see them in the Bible so they know where they are coming from.

Well, I hope you will share your favorite verse or verses. If you can't post them on Facebook you can e-mail me at dearpastorsam@gmail.com or post them on the website. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and may God bless you today.
