What Is Your Greatest Accomplishment?

Have you ever sat down and tried to think what your greatest accomplishment was?  I know in thinking about this that I had a very hard time nailing it down to one thing.  I felt like I had done many good things over the years that were great accomplishments but to choose one thing I couldn’t do it.  So I am going to share a couple of things in my life I feel were great accomplishments.

One of the accomplishments that I am proud about is my years at Baraboo.  I spent almost 16 years pastoring in Baraboo.  Over those years I was able to see many come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and many followed the Lord in believers’ baptism.  I feel I made a mark in the lives of those I ministered to there in Baraboo.

I saw many of those who followed the Lord in Baptism become strong and faithful Christians.  I was always excited about seeing young people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  We had many young people profess Christ as their Savior.  The adults that I was able to minister to were also another wonderful experience.  Clyde & Eileen Martz were one of those couples that made my minister in Baraboo such a wonderful accomplishment.  There were many more but there are too many to list.

My other great accomplishment was at Pleasant View.  We also were able to see many young people ministered to.  Kelly, (my wife) & I developed several games we used in ministering to the young people.  One we called, “Who Wants to Be A Bible Scholar” which was designed like the “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”.  We had several other games we used in our youth group that were great tools for the ministry.

Also while at Pleasant View I saw some couples I baptized that were special to me John & Debbie O’Dell, Jim & Linda Basset and Rory & Rachel Baggerman.  They helped to make my years at Pleasant View a wonderful experience.  I had many other families that were great blessing to us and made it worth the effort we made in Wood River, Illinois.

I had many other wonderful experiences and I am not discounting them but these two are what I consider my greatest accomplishments.  Now let me know about yours.
