Relaxing On The Porch at Our Condo

I am sitting on the deck here at our Condo in South Carolina.  Kelly is in seminars in the morning and we have the rest of the day to enjoy.  So right now I am sitting on the deck enjoying the nice weather and the cool breeze that is blowing this morning.  The birds are chirping and the sounds of the morning are wonderful.

By the time you read this I will be back home and back to the old grind.  Abby is keeping tabs on the house and feeding our birds and taking care of Sophie.  Chloe & Jasper are with us here in South Carolina and they are out here with me on the porch.

Chloe wants to play as she is young and full of zeal and Jasper doesn’t feel up to all the game playing she wants to do.  But I must say that they are wearing each other out and that works for me.

It seemed like it took forever to get here but we hit several areas where we had a slowdown.  One of the slowdowns was an accident.  There were three cars involved and it backed us up for an hour or so.  We had a funeral home car transporting a body in front of us and I am not sure if he was late to a funeral or what but he kept trying to go around the cars ahead of us as he was in a hurry but nobody was going anywhere we were destined to be stuck in the traffic.  The other was just people being stupid.  I police had stopped someone and everyone one had to stop and see what was going on.  It slowed the traffic down and it caused a traffic jam for miles.  We took two days to get down here.  We drove about 10 hours total time which includes stopping for gas and stopping at rest area.  We also stopped and ate at a Sonic.  Then we stopped in TN and stayed in a Hotel and then the next day drove about 8 hours total.  That also includes stopping for gas and stopping at rest areas.  That included stopping at Wal-Mart to pick up our groceries for our Condo too.

Well, I miss you all and I hope you are having a nice day today.
