Mad At God

Now when you see the words “Mad At God” I know you are thinking that we can’t get mad at God.  Well, if that is what you are thinking you are fooling yourself.

I know there has been a time in your life when you were mad at God.  You may not want to admit it and you may think God doesn’t know about it but He does because He knows everything.  Why don’t you just man up and admit you have been mad at God before.  I can remember a time in my life when I was mad at God.  I was a young boy and we had just moved to Griffith, Indiana.  I had lost my mother in a car accident and I was mad at God.  I skipped school and hid in a cardboard box I had made into a fort in a wooded area.  I went there and I was mad at God for taking my mother away from me.  Just so you know it didn’t help to be mad at God but I soon found out that God has His reasons for taking people home to Heaven.

To make a long story short I got caught and I ended up being put back a year in school because of my anger with God.  God wasn’t mad at me He just wanted what was best for me.

You can be mad at God for a host of things and I think it is good to let Him know even when He already knows you are mad at Him.  Sometimes we need to vent.  Then I recommend you listen to God and you will find out you being mad at Him was wrong because He was just doing what was best for you.

Remember God knows what is best for us.  We don’t always agree and we can let Him know but we better be sensitive to His voice when He explains why He did what He did.  If you are not listening; you will end up with a pile of regret and bitterness.

I am speaking from experience and I have learned the hard way and it is much better listening to God and not going down the road of regret and bitterness.

Admit you are mad at God when you are and ask Him to show you why He brought whatever He brought into your life.  It will make for a much better situation and you will be a better person for doing it.

God will never take you through a trial that He will not walk with you until you get through it.
