Dear Pastor Sam

Dear Pastor Sam,
I found this website by accident so I decided I would write. I am a single man and yes I am a Christian but I read that you are a Baptist Pastor and I am not Baptist.
I have been looking for the right woman and I seem to not be able to find the right one. I have tried the bar scene but the women I meet there are not the kind of woman I am looking for. I went to church and most of the ones I liked were married or too young for me. I went to a “Christian” coffee house and I met a lady but that ended badly when I found out she was doing drugs. What am I to do?
Still Searching
Dear Still Searching,
First off I don’t care if you are Baptist or any other religion you are free to write me. My advice will be what I feel is right and you may not always agree but you can take it or leave it. No Charge.
Many of the places you have been looking for love are the wrong places. The first thing you should have done is consult God. Pray and ask God to send the one He wants you to have. Then go about your regular business and attend church but skip the bars and coffee houses. Keep your eyes open as God will send the right one. You need to be ready when He sends you someone. He isn’t going to send you a telegram or a letter in the mail but if you are listening He will direct your way.
I will be praying for you and I hope you will write back when you meet the one He has for you.
