Three Things To Know
Kelly bought a couple of Alexis Shows and every day they have this “Three Things To Know” on it every day. Every day they have three interesting events listed on it.
I am not going to try and copy it but today I just want to write about three events that happen this past month and reflect on them.
The first thing that happened this past month I want to reflect on is the death of George H.W. Bush. The day of his funeral they canceled mail service. I watched a about a half hour of the funeral. It was a very slow moving funeral. I what I was able to see in a half hour was the hearse pulling up to the church and the pallbearers carry the casket in the church. It was done very slowly and every person must have been following some type of preplanned format. My guess is because he was a former president they were honoring his memory. Note: I was once told by a very wise man, “the funeral isn’t for the dead; it is for the living.” Keep that in mind when you think about this event.
The second thing I wanted to share was during this month Bro. Clyde Martz had a birthday. For those of you who don’t know him; he is a very special friend on mine. He served with me while I was in Baraboo. God used him in a special way in my life and he has been a blessing to me over the years.
Thirdly and lastly on December 14th my granddaughter Jocelynn Dawn Marie Harrop celebrated a birthday. This girl is full of energy and I just thought I would mention it to you.
Well, that is three thinks to know today.
