Dear Pastor Sam

Dear Pastor Sam,

I don’t know if you get very many letters from men but I need your advice and so I am writing.

Several years ago I went on a business trip and I was sitting at a table by myself for breakfast. A lady walked up and asked if she could sit down. I wasn’t real happy about it but I said okay. After she sat down she began to talk and so I visited with her. Then she invited me up to her room and I was shocked as I never had that happen to me.

I told her I was married and not interested and I left right away and never saw her again. I never told my wife when I got home but I keep thinking maybe I should have told her even though nothing happened. It still bothers me and I don’t know what to do.

Having Bad Dreams

Dear Having Bad Dreams,

If you are feeling guilty you have nothing to feel guilty about as long as nothing happened. If you tell your wife now she is going to wonder why you didn’t tell her after it happened. If you are having bad dreams the best thing to do is come clean and tell her.
