Dear Pastor Sam

Dear Pastor Sam,
I have lived in the same house for 35 years and I am tired of it. We have paid our house off and we could afford to sell it and buy something smaller but my husband doesn’t want to. How can I convince him we need a change and get him to sell this house.
Tired of the walls
Dear Tired of the walls,
It is my guess that you haven’t had a real conversation with your husband about this issue. My suggestion is that you sit down with him and talk about the pros and cons of selling the house and buying something smaller.
It is my suggestion that you check out the market in your area before you confront him about it and make sure there is a market for your house and there are houses that would be reasonable that you could consider.
Also consider remodeling the house you now have might be an option. If you are tired of the walls maybe a paint job would do the trick.
Let me know how it works out I would love to hear back.
