Letting Go

One of the hardest things for parents to do is to let go of their children. When they get ready for kindergarten we coddle them and we aren’t really ready to let go of them. Many times parents will drive them to school and pick them up after school as they don’t want to let go. And they won’t let them ride the bus either.
Now with all the things that are happening in society such as shooting in the school, bus drivers leaving kids on the bus, and child molesters it makes it even harder to let go.
I can understand some of these issues but parents have to come to a place where they know that have taught the kids right and they can let go.
Children need to be taught right and wrong and they need to be taught about “stranger danger” so they are prepared. Even when kids get older they can still be tricked by the molesters of our world if they are not trained right.
We need to be proactive about who we allow our kids to talk to on the internet. Many times they take people at their word as to who they are and there are many nuts out there in our world deceiving our children.
So think this over and be proactive and be ready to let go at the right time. If you train them right and teach them right from wrong they will be ready to go out into the big bad world.
