Live For Today

We are not offered a tomorrow so we need to live each day to the fullest. The Bible tells us that the return of the Lord is soon and all you have to do is open your eyes to the events that are happening around us to see that His return is coming.

People are taking more drugs to try to forget their problems and it doesn’t seem to work for them. Can’t they get it that drugs are not going to help? The only thing that will help them is to allow Christ into their lives.

It is very easy to get discouraged or depressed. Many people think if they take something it will help but usually it makes things worse. A good dose of God’s Word each day is a great solution for that problem. But for many that is too simple for them.

If you just read a few verses each day it can help. On Facebook I put a “Verse of The Day” and I try to post a new one each day. Many of you read them and like them every day. That is a start and I want to encourage you to not just like the verse for a few seconds and then go on. Take a few minutes and meditate on it and ask God what He wants you to get from this verse today.

If you do this I can promise you it will have a good start on helping you with many of those problems you have been going through.

Well I hope you have a good day and remember I am praying for you. If you are just a random person who has dropped in on my blog by accident you are wrong. It wasn’t an accident and I am praying for you today.
