Recently it was brought to my attention that one of my readers had a pet peeve and it was the improper use of the word “everybody”. They pointed out that I use it improperly a great deal. When I say everybody likes pizza that is incorrect because not everybody likes pizza. If I were to said everybody must breathe air or die, that would be correct.
I am going to try and do better about using that word. When you tell me these things they only help me.
With that being said I would like to ask if you have any pet peeves. They don’t have to be about the usage of words they could be anything.
My pet peeve is drivers who talk on their cellphones and can’t keep their cars under control. The other day I pulled up to a light and a man was talking on his cellphone I just stared over at him in hopes he would get the message and hang up. He didn’t, he flipped me the birdy and I flipped him the hang up your phone signal. He didn’t like it because he pealed out as soon as the light turned green and he was still on his cellphone.
So if you have any I would like to hear from you. I also want to thank you for the letters coming in to my “Dear Pastor Sam” blog which I am doing every Saturday. I would like to see a few more. Send them to my email at email@example.com. Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from you. Keep reading and coming back.
