What Stirs Your Blood?

What stirs your blood?  By that I mean what makes you so mad your blood boils?  When that happens are you still in control of what you do and say?

I think sometimes when we get very angry we lose the control to really react like we should.  When we get angry we say things we don’t mean and we even do things we know we shouldn’t do.  Do you know how I know this?  I know this because it has happened to me on several occasions.

We get so angry we can’t see straight and we end up making a fool of ourselves.  Then after we do that we are too full of pride to admit we failed or made a mistake and so we won’t admit it and it just makes it worse.

What we have to do is before we engage our mouth we need to spend more time thinking about what we are going to say.  I have heard it explained this way.  Think before you put your mouth in gear.

Well that was just a thought I wanted to share.  Hope it was a help to you.
