Clergy Luncheon

On December 5, 2017, OSF is providing a wonderful luncheon for Clergy.  I was honored that they ask me to come and be a part of this nice luncheon.  I think it is very nice of them to have this special thank you luncheon for the area clergy.

Every year St Anthony's Hospital invites the area clergy to be a part of this very special meal.  I am always excited when they invite me to be a part of it.  I think it is really nice of them to do this for the clergy.

Many times at Christmas time the clergy is forgotten and many of those who have served for many years doing the work of the Lord.  After they finish their service is even harder as nobody remembers them and they are not appreciated like they should.

I spent 33 years in the ministry and I ministered to hundreds of people over the years.  I hear from some of them from time to time but for the most part I am forgotten.

Well I am excited about this and I hope you will be happy for me.  For those of you that appreciate the retired Pastor's, say a prayer for us.
