Time For Change

Time for change...  For the most part churches don't want change.  The people say they do but when the Pastor tries to make changes he gets people fighting against the changes.

Most changes are to make the services and the church more affective.  When people rebell to change they end up making it harder to make the necessary changes.

Many don't agree that the changes will help make the church more effective.  The fact of the matter is when they rebell to change they make matters worse not better.  The Pastor doesn't just get up one morning and say to himself I am going to stir things up and make a lot of changes.  Usually he prays about it and gets advice from others who have been in the same situation.  But those who oppose him take no time praying or considering the issue.  They usually end up causing a riff in the church by the time they are done.

Next time your Pastor suggests a change think it through before you start a rebellion.  Pray about it and hear him out.  Make sure you are on the right side of the issue.
