Why do you do the things you do?  Is it because you want to do them or are you influenced by others?  Many people do things because they are influenced by others and they allow them to have the power over them when they do this.  I understand that you can get advice from friends, family and others but don't do things just because you were pushed into it by someone.  Do it because you want to do it and you think it is best.

Many times people who commit crimes do so because of pressure from someone who claims to be a friend.  I have a story to tell.  While I was a Pastor in Baraboo a young man came to me and he was questioning the friends he was hanging around.  He told me that he doesn't like many of the things they do and yet he wanted to be liked by them so he went along with them.  I told him that they will bring you down and cause you more harm than help.  I told him you will become like the friends you keep.  He broke it off with these friends.  Later they were caught doing drugs and normally he would have been with them but since he chose to cut himself off from the group we was not apart of those who got arrested.  Don't let foolish actions make you ask "Why did I do that?".

Just a small warning to those who need it!
