My Friends

Are you one of my friends? If so you might want to read this. Some people consider themselves to be my friend but I wonder at times who is really my friends. I have many acquaintances and I do have a few friends. I consider my wife my best friend. I love her very much and she is special to me. Now when I think of other friends, I have family that I consider friends and then there are those I have become acquainted with over the years. Carl Davies and his wife Kathy I considered to be friends but after I left Baraboo they never answered my emails and I lost touch with them. I considered them special friends but I don't know where they are. Clyde & Eileen Martz live up in Baraboo and I still talk to them from time to time and I consider them to be real friends. They were my friends when others shunned me. I had some family that turned their back on me but many of them have become close again. There are a few family that are bent on destroying me and I don't really trust them.

John & Debbie O'Dell I consider to be my friends. I haven't been in touch with them much since I left Pleasant View. I baptized them while I was there. Jim & Linda Bassett I consider to be friends and I baptized them while I was at Pleasant View. There are others from the church that I know but not really close with them so don't know if they are considered friends. Kay from Pleasant View has been a good friend and I talk with her from time to time on the computer. Dave & Maggie Barker I considered to be my friends but I haven't heard from them in a long time.

Connie Anderson is a very good friend and we talk from time to time and when we can we get together. I count her as a very good friend.

Over the years I have met many people and some of them have been good to me and then later as the years past they lost contact. Some of them have done so on purpose and others it has been an unforeseen situation that we haven't had contact.

Friends are usually someone you can trust in a difficult situation. Not everyone would fit into that category so I wouldn't consider them good friends. I do have some casual friends that have been good to me over the computer and I do appreciate them.

I also appreciate my Facebook friends. I pray for each of them from time to time and some of them I know and others I don't know as well. If you are my friend on Facebook I would appreciate you letting me know you read this. Just put on the bottom of the Facebook post a note that you read this. It would let me know that you are out there and you might read one of my posts if you find it interesting enough. If you aren't my friend and you read this just let me know you are out there.

Well, I am going to sign off for to day. I hope to hear from some of you real soon.
