Update On Our Situation & God's Blessing In It

Sometime we don't know but God sends blessings and they are not what we expected. Recently our house was hit by a storm and a tree fell on our house. At first I wondered what God was doing in allowing it to happen but He has used it to bless us.

Yesterday they began the work on the house. Our French doors were replaced and the roof on the back of our house was replaced. We also had the gutters replaced yesterday too. On Monday they are going to replace the siding that was damage on the back side of the house.

Sometimes we don't understand why God does things but in this case He used a disaster to be a blessing. Does that make sense to you? It took a while for me to wrap my head around it.

God needs us to be faithful and trust Him. God needs us to understand that He knows best. Sometimes He uses things like this to bless and we need to trust Him.

What is going on in your life today? Have you gone though something and is God using it to make you better. I hope you will allow Him to work in your life.

When I decided to resign Pleasant View that was a very hard decision for me. I felt the leading of God in it and to be honest I didn't want to resign but God showed me that it was His will. I had some very special friends in the Church. Many of them are still special to me. Some of them were hurt when I left and I don't know how some of the others felt.

If they only knew how hard it was for me. I had to follow God's will and He has made me better. We must be better, not bitter. So where are you today in His will or are you struggling with your own desires and wants.

I could name the names of some special people at Pleasant View but really you know who you are. I thank God for you and if you are reading this I hope you will understand and please don't give up on me as I am doing what God want me to do. You are very special to me.

Keep your eyes looking up as God is faithful and He knows best.
